It has been two years since Nelson Aggregate Co. donated a 1.5 km section of it’s Burlington Quarry property to public access for the Bruce Trail.
Seen in the photo is John Farquharson, Land Owner Relations Director for the Bruce Trail Conservancy presenting Norm Elmhirst, President of Nelson Aggregate Co. with a token of their appreciation. As John indicated, being close to the GTA makes this section of the Trail very heavily travelled compared some of the other sections.
Nelson is pleased to have been able to contribute to the effort and we wish safe trekking to all members of the public who enjoy the use of the Bruce Trail.
